With the 31 flavors recs, I always spend a lot of time grouping and re-grouping the stories, trying to add a bit of order to what is a scattershot sharing of recs that are gathered over many months and difficult to categorize, except that they are ultimately Stories I Like. Reid is perfect in this Yuletide story. I haven't done a lot of reading in this fandom, and I am behind on the current season, but everything about this story is canon-like, cerebral, creepy, character-driven. I can believe this happened in an AU. (Also: Gideon! Taking care of Reid! *wibbles*)
